you want to write but you’re not sure where (or how) to start.
begin with yourself. what’s YOUR story?
cathleen can help you find it.
what: in our two days together she will:
- help you get out of your own way, get unstuck, and get writing.
- show you how to find your story, your voice, and your medium.
- offer practical tools to make that project you’ve been wanting to write/create become a reality.
- provide advice and inspiration for your writing practice and creative process.
where: a private, oceanside venue steps from laguna beach’s legendary beaches and coves, in a casually elegant setting.
when: monday and tuesday, march 3-4, 2014 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. both days. wednesday of that same week is ash wednesday, so for those of you who are mindful of the liturgical year, the workshop may be the perfect way to begin your lenten practice (whatever it may be.)
how to get there: laguna is a short ride from john wayne/orange county airport (SNA). the seaside village is situated about equidistant from LAX and SAN (san diego); and 45 minutes (or less) from LGB (long beach) or ONT (ontario, CA).
what else? apart from the description above, you will be on your own for meals and accommodations, of which laguna beach has many (for all budgets.)
below are a few links that will help you find a place to stay:
food: there are loads of restaurants that run the culinary gambit from street tacos to four-star dining all within walking distance of the event’s venue.
bits, bobs, and extras:
surfing lessons, stand-up paddle boarding excursions, yoga, meditation, morning hikes, evening strolls on the beach all can be arranged privately. we’re happy to help point you in the right direction.
cathleen really enjoys surprises … so you never know who or what else might turn up.
refunds: we will issue refunds up to 15 days before the event.
waiting list: yes, there will be a waiting list. if a space opens up, we will contact you immediately.
